Stand Up For Service Campaign

Every day, 14,500 BC hospitality businesses are making a herculean effort to restart under the Public Health guidelines. To keep both guests and staff safe, everyone must operate from the same set of principles, respect physical distance and maintain enhanced cleaning and handwashing protocols. Unfortunately, operators are facing real challenges from consumers unhappy with the restart conditions and taking it out on restaurant team members. The BCRFA has no tolerance for customers who aren’t respecting the reopening framework outlined by Dr. Bonnie Henry and the team in Public Health.

Through these times, we all appreciate to go out and enjoy a safe version of our social life again. The people who support us in this are the service industry workers.

The BC Restaurant and Foodservices Association (BCRFA) started the Stand Up for Service campaign:

Nominate a restaurant employee who gave you great customer service here!

One employee per week will be rewarded with a gift card.

Let’s give back and #standupforservice in BC!
