Supportive Housing in the Neighbourhood

The South Granville neighbourhood is growing with the recent opening of Connective’s supportive housing building at 1450 West 12th Avenue. Following extensive renovations completed in October 2024, the first residents have begun settling in, adding valuable diversity and community to the area.

Connective Community members can anticipate seeing new friendly faces in the neighbourhood, contributing positively to South Granville’s vibrant and inclusive culture.

Connective is dedicated to providing safe, secure, and permanent housing. There is 24/7 onsite support tailored to the needs of seniors, Indigenous individuals, and women. Each resident lives in a private studio apartment, contributes rent and signs program agreements. Special priority is given to seniors currently living in BC Housing who desire a more seniors-focused environment.

With an impressive 90-year history supporting people across Vancouver, Connective is committed to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for neighbours, residents, and staff alike. Open communication remains a key priority, ensuring ongoing dialogue and community integration.
