An Elf-tastic Tree Lighting In South Granville!

On the evening of December 1st, the rain was pouring but South Granville was shining! The SGBIA was proud to host its first-ever community tree lighting.

The night included complimentary hot cocoa, wonderful tunes by the Mt. Pleasant Brass Ensemble and a guest appearance from a member from the cast of Elf: The Musical. In between songs, guests dropped by the card station where you could send Christmas cards to the neighbourhood seniors.

The 14-ft Christmas tree glowed with colours with the help of Buddy the Elf as the A Brass Band played classic Christmas songs, getting everyone to sing along! An Elf-tastic tree lighting - the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
