This summer, the South Granville Business Improvement Association (SGBIA) is pleased to partner with The Nooks, Got Craft?, and Portobello West, to present a beautiful summer street fair experience. A craft pop-up series dubbed Market will be presented by a different craft collective each Saturday on July 24th, August 7th and August 28th from 11 am to 4 pm.
Inspired by famous street markets in Europe, Market will be free and open to the public. Locals and visitors alike are invited to browse curated collections of handcrafted pottery, illustrations, clothing, jewelry and more under the cover of shady trees in the middle of Vancouver’s premiere lifestyle neighbourhood. Each market day will be a little different and sure to satisfy all tastes.
The event will be hosted on Granville at W. 10th and 11th Ave and is served by nearby transit, ample parking, and the great shopping and restaurants of South Granville. After enjoying the market, visitors are invited to refresh on a sunny patio, browse exclusive homeware shops such as Ming Wo, Williams Sonoma, West Elm, Goodge Place, EQ3 and Le Creuset, and grab wardrobe essentials from charming boutiques and unique shops like Black Goat Cashmere, Turnabout Luxury, Suetables and Eileen Fisher.
