Nestled between our local artisan grocery store and a popular burger joint, it is the neighbourhood’s hub to gather for morning coffees, lunch breaks, work-from-a-plaza sessions and even yoga classes – and now it’s cuter than ever!

The SGBIA has teamed up with local artists the WKNDRs to bring you an all cool, refresh for this public space! Coming with a hip, new mural, furniture, and coordinated landscaping, the transformation of this Plaza is stunning!

SOUTH GRANVILLE PLAZA WEST

Granville x West 13th Ave
The popular respite area on the west side of Granville Street will become a semi-permanent (intended to be in place for 5-10 years) neighbourhood plaza, free to use for everyone. Inspired by the public space scene in Montreal and brought to you in collaboration with the creative minds of Kim Winston and Paul Fast at HCMA, the new and improved South Granville Plaza West brings the experience of forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku. Construction will begin in June. Join us for a Party on the Plaza to celebrate our new look on August 20th from 1-4pm with free popsicles (while supplies last).
