Summer Sounds Concert Series: Bridgerton Event
The social season was in full swing with our Bridgerton-inspired concert, featuring the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra. The evening, held at South Granville Plaza West, offered a charming blend of classical renditions and modern hits inspired by the beloved series. With a beautifully decorated setting and the delightful presence of over 300 people in the audience, this event was a perfect start to the summer’s social calendar.
Board Game Nights
Our Board Game Nights at South Granville Plaza East turned out to be the perfect setting for friendly competition between neighbours. Whether you’re a board game aficionado or just in for some casual competition, these evenings were perfect for bringing together friends and family in a spirited game showdown.
Family Storytime
In partnership with the Vancouver Public Library, our Family Storytime at South Granville Plaza West was a wonderful community event. With interactive tales and songs, the session was a delightful way for young ones and their caregivers to bond over the magic of storytelling.
Bend & Flow Yoga
Our yoga sessions at Vancouver School Board Park offered a serene escape amidst nature. These free sessions, held under the canopy of lush trees, were the perfect way to unwind and connect with the community, leaving everyone feeling rejuvenated and centred.
Summer Sounds Concert Series: 2000’s R&B Slow Jams
The Summer Sounds Concert Series brought a wave of smooth nostalgia with a live R&B performance by the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra at South Granville Plaza West. The night was filled with slow jams and community vibes, accompanied by Jonny’s Pops’ artisan popsicles.
A Mixed Reality Parade
Young Guns Art Studio’s “A Mixed Reality Parade” at South Granville Plaza East was a feast for the senses. With AR and projection art brought to life by local high school students, the event celebrated the fusion of technology and creativity, offering a unique visual spectacle.
Book Lovers’ Lit Slam
In collaboration with the Vancouver Public Library, our Book Lovers’ Lit Slam at South Granville Plaza West was a celebration of literary expression. Whether you were sharing your favorite verses or soaking in the poetic atmosphere, the evening was a tribute to the power of words and community.
SEEK Bespoke Weekend Market
The SEEK Bespoke Weekend Market transformed Vancouver School Board Park into a vibrant hub of creativity and fun. With over 30 upscale and high quality craft vendors, live music, and fun activities like giant chess and yoga and sound baths, the market offered a refreshing blend of shopping and entertainment in a picturesque setting.
Summer Sounds Concert Series: Sunset Edition
Our Sunset Edition concert at Vancouver School Board Park was a magical finale to the summer season. The Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra’s 25-piece ensemble, serenaded attendees under the stars, creating a memorable evening filled with enchanting melodies. Candlelight on the stage added a magical touch to the stage, and the community came together at the Sunset Sips Wine Garden or playing giant board games.
Young Guns Studio Urban Sketchbook Workshop
The Urban Sketchbook Workshop at South Granville Plaza West offered a peaceful retreat for sketching enthusiasts. With expert guidance, participants explored sketching techniques and captured the essence of their creativity in a relaxed, creative setting.
